Discussion on Amendments to KCOCA

The Karnataka Government has just pushed through amendments to the Karnataka Control of Organized Crime (2009). The amendments make far reaching intrusions into the basic liberties of citizens.  The amended KCOCA is even more draconian that the GUJCOCA which has been piloted through the assembly by Narendra Modi. 

We propose to have a discussion on the key features of the amended law and think concretely of how we can respond to this law.
